I think there is a middle road where most Republican and most Democrats want to meet. You know as well I, this Administration has divided our nation. It has been an extreme Right Administration and I don't think most Republican want these extremes. I hope what you have seen today is a divided nation trying to find our balance. It is my hope it is a sign that Americans wanting to move forward, instead of backwards.

208 of the HRC backed politicians won out of 231 so far. Seven are still undecided. We took back the house. We may have taken the senate too. We took a lot of the governorships. We even started to turn the tide on marriage bans! This last election was definitely a good one that has opened the door to make some good changes here in America.

happy to see that the people got out there and voted, and showed they were as frustrated as most of us are with the current administration....and the Dems have control of the House AND the Senate again! a step in the right direction, for sure!
still disappointed to see, though, that the bigots passed the gay marriage bans in several states, though. but, we just have to keep going, and forge ahead. we gained a lot of ground getting rid of the conservatives minority hold in government....Bush will have a lot rougher road ahead for his last 2 years.

Mixed. Some anti-gay politicians were voted out of office, but some gay marriage bans passed.

Well, I'm darn happy Arizona voted down the amendment to ban gay marriage... too bad I live in Michigan and they banned it two years ago...
