When you were pregnant, how far along where you when you found out the sex of your child?

7 months. Why? Because my sister found out a 4 months that she was having a girl....imagine the surprise when her son was born!!! It's best to wait as long as possible because sometimes the penis isn't very prominent until 8 months. And fyi my child had a condition that was worse in girls than boys so I wanted to find out so we could prepare. I never found out before my first 2 were born. It's God's best surprise!

I was 20 weeks and 5 days along when I found out I was going to have a boy.

I was 19 weeks this last time, and around the same time with the other 3. They will usually do that between 18 to 21 weeks. But you can tell the sex earlier than that sometimes.

I tried to learn the sex at 16 weeks, but little one was playing shy. So I just took the Tech's guess, a girl, but I wasn't convinced, so I chose yellow, green, white and blue (girl's can wear blue), and then when I was 35 weeks and went to a regular ultrasound, the Tech kept saying 'him' and 'he' and I was like, what? and then he got a great shot of his privates,
not everyone is the same, some babies will show what they got right away, others...ahhh....so good luck....can't wait???? ask for a CVS test, its for checking genetic disorders and it's useful for DNA tests and gender questions

i found out today that i was going to have a little boy!! I am 7.5 months along, and feeling great!!

18 to 22 weeks is the best time to tell because at this time all of the organs should be fully developed.

I think it was 21 weeks - and they could see for sure it was a boy!!! I had one of those 4D ultrasounds, and got the most amazing pics!
