I agree, Runescape( and I played runescape for about 3 years) is full of hackers, scammers and people having relationships

Oh yay. I get to try to help some more misguided souls... First off. Snipah whatever... The graphics. Oh what a beautiful arguement. One problem... The whole game is coded in JavaScript.. Do you have any idea what that is? I'm guessing the answer to that is no because if you did you would realize you can't exactly create a 3D world with amazing detail and shadows and whatever else you want. Next arguement I read. Its for poor people. Wow. Thats smooth. Guild Wars has NO monthly fee which would make it cheaper then RuneScape. So is it bad by cost too? $5 a month is VERY reasonable. Yes there are bad people in it (scammers, ect) but uh... Welcome to real life folks. Not everyone is a saint who will help you when you walk into a city for the first time. Bad people = consequence of WORLD WIDE WEB, not a game. Basically, in the game you may get scammed, you just gotta be careful and when you lose out, cut your losses and move on. Don't whine about it, that just makes the society worse because we get beggers. And onto the thing about no life. What business is it of anyone's to say that? Do you know half the people who play the game? Can you honestly vouch that they have NO LIFE at all? Here's a better, correct question. "Who else agree's with my opinion that runescape is not that great?" Sterotypes ahoy! I play runescape so I must have no life. Great.

Runescape is actually a very good online game, I mean..as long as you don't let it run your life or anything. If you think about it, you can't find another game just like it. It's like, one of the ONLY good Java games that don't require downloading, don't put files on your comp, and is an MMORPG.
I've looked at many others, such as Maple Story, Ragnarok, WoW, GW, and others that all ask for money or make you download, unlike RS, which is definitely a "yes" factor for the game.
Besides, you cant argue with the ratings. It rated top on a list of many, many other RPG games, and I can't see why not.
If you're a person with absolutely no patience, no trading savvy, and no idea what an MMORPG is, then RS is just not the game for you. You can't say its dumb just because you don't understand it, either.

Hmmmmm... different video games?? Like what? Runescape is extra useful than different RPGs in a pair of procedures ---- a million. it is loose 2. It has numerous skills 3. it is youngster-friendly 4. Its paying for and merchandising equipment makes scamming virtually impossible 5. in case you substitute right into a member it expands the international tenfold 6. PKing is lower back!!!!!!! Now.. Why Runescape replaced into extra useful 2 years in the past. a million. No lame commerce equipment that made merchanting impossible 2. PKing certainly worked <--- meaning you get their products 3. No overpriced rares like celebration Hats 4. extra human beings. <--- Worlds have been fuller

Indeed, it is. Jagex has not solved the extremely hideous graphics for over 100 years. Also, if you would like to NOT have a life, please choose a different game rather than Runescape. Obviously, if you play Runescape and don't have a life, I will pity you.
Some alternatives are:
Barbie Online(Yes, its better than Runescape)
Nerds Who Live With Their Mom and Are 43 The Game (Still better than Runescape)

It's definitely for people who:
1. Don't have the money or the computer specs. to play good computer/console games
2. People who don't know what other games have to offer
3. People who are occupied with boring 2d graphics and extremely tedious grinding.
I tried playing it once, I lasted like 15 minutes before I got so bored and just went back to World of Warcraft.

runescape is totally pointless. you have to have no life to play it. one time i was at friends house and he played it the entire time. it was so boring and i didn't understand any of it
