Depends on what look you are going for.. A Santa's helper outfit is good but if red is not you color do the same thing in green as Santa's elf:-)
Also think about what the holiday means to you. a green skirt is always great and you can work it for Halloween next year or a hay ride when you are out of school and funds are short from college expenses but you still want to participate in other activities like a trip to the haunted house :-)
Enjoy your senior year and try to do what i told my god daughters to do-buy things for this year that will work for your first year in college. When someone offers to give you something let them buy you a nice suit-get a collection of comfy jeans and sweats-you will have your entire college wardrobe. When you get your prom dress get a nice piece of formal wear that can be worn to a formal event. Get something under your gown as well.

Attire: a cute red and short sexy dress is cutee. It should be tight too, so thats simple to buy! No white fuzzy fringe, that's kind of too common!
Makeup: red eyeshadow and glitter. black eyeliner and neutral lipgloss is cute. Go all out with the makeup and make it sassy!
Accesories: a red Santa hat to match it makes the outft.
Shoes: Red knee-high boots go best with em, no black boots!
Hair: Just leave it down and put glitter in it.

I would go with a really cute red dress that would be similar to the santa Clause outfit; with the white ruffles on the collar area, and some at the bottom of the dress; with a wide black belt with a black buckle that comes with it. And last a santa hat to match with black heels or boots that go up to your knee.....you would look smashing!!
