There are so many different rules for forming plurals.
wolves - Words ending in f or fe
For most of these words, change the f or fe to v before adding es, e.g. leaf - leaves. Watch out for the words that don't fit this rule, e.g. chief - chiefs. To help work out the exceptions to the rule listen for the change in the sound when you say the word.
Some exceptions: roof = roofs, chief = chiefs, belief = beliefs, chef = chefs, cafe = cafes, handkerchief = handkerchiefs, safe = safes.
crayons - For most words, just add s. This is the most common way to make a plural e.g. bike- bikes.
children and deer - These are irregular plurals and don't follow any rules.
cities - If there is a consonant before the y, change the y to i before adding es, e.g. lady- ladies. If there is a vowel before the y, just add s, e.g. toy - toys.
gases, bushes, and couches - Words ending in x, sh, ch or s: For words ending in x, sh, ch or s add es, e.g. church = churches.
Check these sites. I hope this helps.

Well anyway change the y to an i and add es(only if it has a y).
And plus if you have sentence like "I hit all the deers".That doesn't sound right so it is"I hit all of the the deer."So just think if it sounds right or not.
Ch,Sh,x,or s add es! simple! couch(es) , bush(es) {easy}!!
Well if you have a word like leaf or wolf you have to spell it like leaves or wolves.
Just study it you will get it trust me!
