Well, not really. What was proved yesterday is that Americans are fed up. I do not support the democrats or republicans. I support the Socialist Equality Party (SEP). What yesterday's election proves is that even as the democrats move to the right and the populace to the left, they are still seen as the only option by most. The democrats are not anti-war, they are not pro working-class. They are as bad as the republicans, but they are still seen as the only alternative because of our two party system. Check out the SEP's website if you are against the war and inequality in general:

Sheep? Humanist my friend have you turned into a troll? There are two main parties in American politics, and yesterday the democrats won!!! Nobody is being treated like "sheep" If everybody thought alike then yahoo answers would be obsolete!!!

Absolutely not. They are just sheep for the other side now. I certainly agree the fear of the gays allowed bush to shepherd them to his side during the last election, but now they run to the other side even if they have no real plan because they don't know what else to do. Maybe if we had someone decent to vote for, I wouldn't feel this way. But lots of luck to me (and those who know this) for getting that in the future.

I'm not sure the two party system is the best one in which to prove we're not sheep.

No. Well, in Connecticut, they did. I am astounded that a major party has lost control of yet another seat in the US Senate to someone outside of their direct sphere of influence.

My God you ask some of the dumbest, ignorant questions. Who was treated like a sheep? Who, how and why? You cant answer that

I'm no sheep, I know how to spend my own money. Taxing the hell out of every hard worker makes them seem like sheep who don't know what to do with their wages
