you do have a point.
I remember the days after 9-11-01. The American people were truly united. There were no democrats. There were no republicans. We were americans. I remember listening to President Bush speaking to the world, in a special joint session of Congress. I remember crying, because the world as we knew it had changed. All americans, almost without exception, were united and behind the President. The controversy of Florida and the Supreme Court Decision in December 2000 were all but forgotten.
The USA had the support and sympathy of virtually the entire world.
President Bush could have and should have done something very positive. He had a golden opportunity to truly fight for peace and justice in the world.
Look where we are now five years later. The world is a mess, less safe, and less stable. The world community is divided in its support for the USA in the war against terror. The country is divided. How could the President squander the unity of the American people, and the support and sympathy of the world? He really botched this one up.

Like a lot of my fellow republicans, I am pretty happy with the past 6 years, with the exception of Iraq and a large budget deficit.
The supreme court is established, the economy is doing well (despite what people say), - look at the stock market and unemployment numbers- taxes are down, and hard working and saving Americans have used the past few years to make themselves wealthy.
I am certain the democrats have a plan for fixing the Iraq problem and the deficit, so all in all not a bad run.
If taxes go up too high in the next few years I can just close my businesses, lay off all the workers, sell my stock and real estate and retire to the tropics.
Pretty good years for me anyway!

You are a moron. The economy is doing very well, stocks are high, gas is low, unemployment rate is low. All this after a major war that is still going on and the nations biggest disaster ever. It hasnt been six wasted years. After the Dems screw things up then you can start talking about wasted time. They are going to tear apart this country. I guess youre just too blind to see that.

Wasted? I don't think they were wasted. There were tax cuts, and economic recovery after 9/11 and Katrina, record highs on the stock market, and the lowest unemployment. How can that be wasted?
PS: The Port Security Act of 2006, Medicare Prescriptions

Yes, your entire existence has been a waste, not just the last 6 years. Ask your mom why she didn't abort you.
