Yahoo provides you with tools to host and create a website for free at: http://geocities.yahoo.com

Or just type "free website" into Google or Yahoo Search and you will have literally thousands of options.

ok first of all you dont want to use a tacky website builder like
piczo or freewebs or geocities
but bear these in mind for later
its best if you have some html experience
basicly you need a program called
"Microsoft Front Page" or "Macromedia Dreamweaver"
or any other html editor
in front page you can basicly drawyour website if you choose the design mode
ie to put tables text boxes and buttons etc on....
next yousave your website and then sign up to a site the likes of
freewebs
some give you the option to upload your own html (your own designed website)
then you can use a site like
www.dot.tk do create a domain name like www..tk

hope this helps

I don't know how to make one using HTML stuff which is really complicated. If you want you could make a myspace which is kinda the same. It's basically a website or profile about yourself and you get to meet other people and add friends. It's completely free too. But if that's not the kind of site your looking for then forget everyhting...

A website can be created using HTML tags. The most basic tags needed to create a website are , ,, . Type the following to create a simple webpage:

save this in a text file (use notepad) and open the file using a browser and you would have created a page for your website. Thereafter, add in more advance tags to , tags like link text to link text to another page, to add in images,

to add tables,

to add paragraphs and etc and you would be able to build up your website.

Use a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor... many websites have them. Google the internet for "free websites" and you will find hundreds of options :) If you have a specific theme in mind, you will find plenty of sites for your theme, such as sports, games, personal, etc.

Best of luck!

If you are a true novice and don't want to spend much time learning how to make a site, I would suggest the current super-popular MySpace. You can quickly get your information up for all your friends to see.

If you are interested in something more, but still fairly simple try GeoCities or Yahoo

Try those sites mentioned above.
Alternatively you could sign up with a blog server (blogger.com) and a photo account (like flickr.com). It's almost as good as having a website -- even for a business or tyour resume.
myspace.com is also good.
