Isn't it strange, that America, all against racism and sexism and freedom and fairness, has not already elected a woman president?

The truth is that America is not ready for a female president, like they are not ready for a black president. You have to realize that majority of America is still in the mentality that this country was founded on (White, Christians, Rich Men). If you live in a major city, you have more diversity. But most of America is not like that...its made of small towns and ideologies of generations upon generations (women belong in the home or "to know her place"). It will take time before America can accept full DIVERSITY....until that time we as a people have to fight for these things.

Out of 197, how many nations have elected a female President/Prime Minister/(fill in the blank)? I think that you'll find the US isn't alone in that number, and that there are far fewer nations that have, as opposed to those who haven't.

I don't believe a woman has ever been on a ticket or even nominated. Can't vote for them if they're not running.
