Are the following workers more likely to experience short term or long term unemployment and why?

a. a construction worker laid off because of bad weather
b. a manufacturing worker who loses her job at a plant in an isolated area
c. a stage coach industry worker laid off because of competition from railroads
d. a short order cook who loses his job when a new restaurant opens across the street
e. an expert welder with little formal education who loses her job when the company installs automatic welding machinery

I disagree with some of Alcohol's answers. a, yes, short term, the waether will change. b), yes, long-term, thre may be no other suitable work in the area. But c) I would say long-term because the stage-coach work has become outdated by new technology and will be in national and fundamental decline. d) short-term if s/he is willing to move, because there will be other restaurants wanting a cook elsewhere in the country but not necessarily in that town. e) I would say long-term, it is the same principle as c), the job he has been doing is no longer in demand.

a)short term. his field is needed. will have new construction
soon. the weather changes daily.
b)long term. have to adjust to changes. may not be educated.
have to relocate.
c)short term. could work at competitor railroads. field is needed.
d)short term. could work at other restaurant, have cooking skills.
e) short term. have a trade could work with her welding experience.
