I think the Reps can take a loss better. Especially amongst us older folk that remember the Dems had Congress for 20 years prior to the 1994 turn over.

The department of justice sent MANY representatives around the country to make sure poll workers behaved correctly and many grassroots organizations like Moveon had reps. at the polls making sure things went smoothly. This means we are learning from our mistakes, which is a good thing.

I think the American people are just ready for a change. I do not vote for one party exclusively. I research and make sure I am making a decision based on what I want. I'm sure many others are the same but I can't help but to think people may say the Republican way isn't working so lets refresh the way the US decides things.

Don't know about the strategy, but I find it extremely amusing that all the whining about Diebold has completely stopped. Funny how it's a legit election if the Democrats win, but it MUST be rigged if Republicans win. Just amazing.

Concerned a republican judge did not extend voting in I think it was Colorado. I dislike the voting machines and consider them a costly, ineffective voting tool. I would prefer the good ol fashion ballots if it ment less fradulence and vote tampering.

Well, this time the Reps could not rig the elections as they did to get into power and to stay in power....Dems wised up and the Reps did not see this coming....not like this...but who can blame....Bush has a current approval rating of 30%......that is an all time low for any President....not even Clinton hit that low when they were trying to impeach him for well you know the rest...hehehehehehehehe

No, we've had enough screwups. The elections went well because we learned from our mistakes. That and the democrats won, and they always complain much more than a republican will.

Dems are the only one who complain when they lose. Problems are problems when someone decides to announce a 'problem' exists.
