I would love to see him playing with some of the world's best players even if he would get very little playing time. For example, look at Theo Walcott. I think they are very similiar situations. Walcott has improved SO much by moving to arsenal even if he only gets to play 10 minutes a game. And I think whatever he learns in england he will be able to apply to the US national team.

On top of all of this, I am a Man U fan so I am excited to see what happens.

it will be a shame if Man U lets Adu play in the first team. I watched Adu play and he is not the great player everyone says he is. i think he has talent but playing for united is too much. the best thing for him is to stay at DC united where he is regarded as a hero.

No way.

He is the MOST over-hyped player in the world. He gets a lot of press coverage but the real reason he is still playing in the US is that he isnt anywhere near good enough to play in Europe!

Remember...he didn't EVEN make the US world cup squad this year!!!!! He can do a few tricks but is really only a very average player.

It sounds like exciting times ahead for the Red Devils.
But I don't think he's suited to the rigours of the Premiership as yet.

I think it'll be good for him to train there but I think Man U is a bit out of Freddie's leauge.

He's gonna go eventually though. It'll suck for us (in the US) to lose such a good player.
