My Daughter is coming eighteen and wont give me any ideas as she wants a surprise!! She lives in Northern Ireland. Loves to party, is training to be a beautician. I want something she can keep so not a mobile or anything like that. Maybe jewlery but what if she didnt like it cos she is very in to her cheap costume jewelery. Any ideas gratefully received. I am nineteen (19) and most of those answers, for me, I wouldn't enjoy them, I don't have a lot of jewlery. But anyway, if it were me, I would like to receive a gift basket or present, filled with lotions, shampoos/conditionars, soap, bodywashes, bubble bath. But I do like rings too, real ones, not fake cheap-cheap things. Maybe a laptop if she doesn't already have one or a $250 spending spree on your credit card do get what she wants. Oh and a card too. ;)

I think a Jewelry Box would be a great idea if she has a lot of costume jewery, but if you can it still would be nice to surprise her with some little earrings inside, they don't have to be expensive either if thats what she's used to wearing, it's the thought that counts.....she'll treasure them because they are from you. If you don't feel comfortablel with chosing a piece of jewelry then tuck in a gift certificate to her favorite place. Hope I helped.

How about a fancy jewelry box to hold all her jewelry. Or a book on cosmetics or beauty therapy. An aromatherapy kit is another one or a beautiful framed picture of mother and daughter? I'm sure she'll treasure whatever you give her though, so don't fret too much. Good luck!

Maybe some sort of charm bracelet, with a few meaningful charms. That way you can add to the bracelet on future special occasions.

they have nice necklaces at Tiffany's...they make them in silver, and they are about $60-70. of course there is a "nice" section and "cheaper" section, and it is in the cheaper section! hahah...but they really nice ones. take a look! :)
the elsa peretti line @ tiffany's is really popular... the ones that i know/have are the lopsided heart, teardrop, and the bean.... :) really cute.
