I do have a son (19yo) and I want him to be true to himself. I hope I have influenced him to be a good person, but he has his own personality, his own strengths and weaknesses. All I want is for him to be happy being himself.

No,Yes, some what, I want them not 2 B push overs (cause I'm not) 2 follow their own way. 2 b strong N have sharp reflexes 2 situations like me but most of all I want them 2 have a better life.

No Way!! I have a daughter. I want her to grow up happy. I have suffered from depression and anxiety problems for years. Bad childhood. I want her to grow up being unafraid of chasing her dreams, what people think of her, etc.

I do not want her to be like me. I do not like me. I want her to be outgoing and happy. I'm a depressed introvert. My brain has been half destroyed by alcohol and drug abuse. I have very little ambition. I hope she doesn't turn out like me or her father. She has a lot of potential and I'm trying really hard to steer her right.

definityl not in a lot of ways. i would want them to be open and not shy like me but i have a lot of insecurities and i want them to be more 'into' some pport or something than i am. also i would like them to have a perfect life, popular, but mostly liked by everyone. overall i would love for them to be different but still themselves

I haven't done anything too wrong. If i had a kid that grew up to be like i am right now at 20. There wouldn't be anyhting wrong with that.

I am a decent person. I am honest, work hard and I am a good friend.
I would hope he would have these qualities but mostly I want him to be happy.

I'd want them to be more assertive during childhood and young adulthood than I was. I'd want them to be more adventurous their whole life than I've been. other than those things, yes, I'd have them follow in my footsteps.
