My first removal of a question! Interesting. I came on here a couple of minutes ago, and found one of my questions removed.

It was as follows:

Do you think there is a Jesus fetish? Like if Jesus were alive would anyone want to have sex with him if they could?

In my opinion, completely innocent question. I was not bashing anyone, I was not cursing anyone. Fetishes exist and are embraced all over the world, that is a fact. Some sound absurd to other people, but the person who has the fetish consider themeselves innocent. I thought more people on this board could be more open minded, but I guess that is a huge societal problem.

Anyway, could anyone kindly answer my initial question, or post your thoughts on my first violation?

yes, there are people that have fetishes for Jesus' so called representatives, like nuns and priests and tv preachers so I think a lot of these people would have a jesus fetish if he were available in human form

I suspect your OP was pulled on the basis of offensiveness....
while you may not have meant it as a potentially explosive question, if enough people got ticked off, well.....

Remember the huge controversies when _The Last Temptation of Christ_ movie came out? and IIRC, the book was also very, very controversial-----many people are just not very comfortable with the concept of deities (of any sort) havng sexual attributes.

And in terms of the "fetish issue"---I have to disagree; have seen a number of BDSM./alt sexuality/fetish-related questions in this general section that have stayed put; have even answered a number of them with no hassles. (But have also seen a few complaints from users wondering "why is this question on swingers/fetish/BDSM posted in the GLBT section?", and this _could_ account for a couple pulls.) Wish Yahoo answers would start an "alt-sexuality" or "sexual diversities" subsection; it might make for a couple fewer misplacements.

Think a lot of how questions "pass" has to do with how, uuuh, delicately and diplomatically you can phrase things so as not to be shockingly explicit and startle the "younger reader" (or just conventionally-minded person) who might be on the boards.

Y!A has fetish issues. BDSM questions get taken down pretty quickly too.

Yes, there would be someone who would, as for your violation...that's a harder question....there is no rhyme nor reason. As to why something get notices and others do not.
