It is simply larger and more bulky.
If it is too slow you can always go back to version 6 by uninstalling it from Add/Remove programs in control panel, or why not try Firefox 2?

Since there is a lot of security programs on it it will little bit slow down your internet.But don't worry because it will get faster trust me i downloaded it too and it got kind of slow

because IE is rubbish. change to Firefox its faster and better. give it a try you'll never go back

I think that Phishing check does it
but you can desable it
