it is absolutely possible. buy things you like that can go with things you already have. fashion is what you make it. things never really go out of style they take a break then come back. look at wedges, platform shoes, greys, metallics, plaids they all made a comeback at some point. you dont even have to keep shopping all the time to keep in fashion, just acessorise your clothes with funky bracelets, necklaces, earings, bags and shoes. mix your clothes with things you wouldnt normally wear. create your own fashion.

What is fashion anyway? We all play a part in the fashion world and we either go around looking like everyone else or we define our own fashion and dress sense. Just buy things that you like and feel comfortable in, pick the right colours that compliment your skin tone and the right clothes for your body shape and size! Happy shopping girlfriend! X

There are those cedrtain classic styles that never really go in or out of fashion, they always look good. For example; a pair of dark denim jeans that fit really well, are long enough on the leg & don't have any sparkly added extras. This sort of item will go with anything & has no distinguishing features to make it in or out of fashion. Its the same with shoes,if you buy a good quality pair of leather court shoes or boots they never really go out of fashion.
Happy Shopping!

Yes, it is not only possible but it is easy. Just pick clothes that are kinda non-descript. That is, clothes that are not in fashion, but are not out of fashion. Regular fitting jeans, a womans suitcoat (without shoulderpads [shudder], any plain clothing. Those last a long time because when you come down to it they can't go out of style.

Yes. It depends on what retailer you go to. If you shop at Wet Seal or Forever 21, your going to find nothing but trends. When you shop you want to find "staple" items that look good on your body type and items that are minimalistic in cut and design. Not necessarily boring, but items that you can "spice up" with trendy accessories. The infamous "little black dress" is a prime example. It can look great with anything for any occasion, it just depends on the accessories you choose for that specific occasion :)

Yep, why bother going shopping. Just dig around in your gran or mom's cupboard, they never seem to go out of fashion. Things they are wearing now was worn by my mom ages ago , all back in fashion.

You need to go for classic styles and create a timeless capsule wardrobe. Don't go for high fashion or extreme looks such as flares or skinny fits. Styles that last are those that won't date so therefore stick to simple lines, decent fabrics and tailored cuts. Good luck!!

Go for the classics, Jeans, t shirt, v necked jumper, little black dress, anything vaguely Chanel. Plain shapes, that fit you very well, go for quality rather than quantity. Gap, Next, Jaeger, Monsoon are firms you should be looking for.

graphic t's are always a safe bet (shirts that are tight fitting and normally have a brand name on them, or the name of their maker) its also always safe to go with jeans with out holes and ina regular wash jeans that have acid was or ones that look like you just sat in paint arnt very attractive and wont be in style very long, if you do insist on getting a faded jean try a jean with faded "whisker" marks around the crotch of the jean for lack of better terminology. it'll look like the jeans just got creased right there and were faded, as for "holy jeans" yes their cool, (i have about 10 pair) but i realized that one day were all gunna have "holy jeans and were just going to look retarded) so if you do buy something that your aftraid is going to go out of style, then buy it in minimum, dont be aftraid to stray from the straight and narrow (as in flared regular wash jeans and grafic t's) go out and get yourself a silky blouse or sumthing every now and then. but to really answer your question, yes it is possible to buy clothes that wont go out of style. but its not very fun if you ask me. =)
hope that helps.
happy shopping!
