If I was to burn (or rip) a dollar in front of a on duty police officer what would I be guilty of, what type of crime would this be (misdemeanor or felony), what exactly would the punishment be?

Please don’t send me hate mail, or hate IMs on this one. I wasn’t planning on doing it, if you don’t like the question, hit yourself in the head with a hammer or don’t answer.

undecided the place you're. interior the united kingdom all human beings has the flexibility to arest somebody who they witness committing an arrestable offence. the only particular ability the Police have is to arrest people who're suspected of committing crimes, no longer easily witnessed doing so. That ppwer is going with the place of work, no longer the job hours, so it nonetheless exists while law enforcement officials are off duty.

It is not against the law to destroy your own currency. I would advise ripping, however, because most places have burn bans inside city limits.
