Depends how old you are. I took my teenage daughter to the doctor's as her periods are very irregular and he said it's normal at her age for them to be erratic. Perhaps you should visit your doctor and check there is nothing wrong? If the frequency and/or severity of your periods bother you, there is the option of going on a lose dose contraceptive pill to regulate your periods and reduce the pain. If it's only happened this once I really wouldn't worry. I've not heard of the weather affecting menstruation but apparently the moon can. I'd talk to your doctor if you're really worried if only to put your mind at rest x x

If you work or are around a group of women on a daily basis, over time you will find that all their periods start to syncronise... Admittedly it usually happens a few days early or late here and there...
It could be your hormones, depending on your age, your periods could just be settling down...
Or it could be some kind of infection... Are there any other symptoms? Discharge, itchiness??
If so I would go straight to your doctor, if not, then give it another month or 2 and if things don't settle down, then visit your doctor..
Hope this helps, good luck

Irregularities happen sometimes. Not likely to be the weather. usually happens from change of lifestyle, stress, weight loss or gain., taking new medication. Do keep an eye on it and if it starts occuring regularly like that or if becomes heavier or more painful, then definitely get it checked out. No need to panic for the moment however.

Are you on the pill? Because that sometimes happens. If not, then note down your next two or three periods. If it turns out this one was just an irregular one its fine, it happens to the best of us! If they keep coming every two weeks see your GP, but i wouldn't worry - if you weren't having any it would be time to panic!

I don't think the weather has anything to do with your cycle, but it could be hormones or something else you would need to talk to your doctor about. See what happens next month. If they are heavy twice a month, then go to the doctor.

Its quite common for this to happen - not sure its the weather though. If you have long term changes with heavier bleeding or constantly bleed every 2 weeks go have a chat with your GP as he can do something to regulate them again xx

This can happen sometimes and you shouldn't worry too much.
I would recommend charting your cycles so you know what is going on. The Couple to Couple League offer an excllent NFP home study course. You will be amazed how your body actually works.

Periods are funny things, they can go topsy turvy for all kinds of reasons. Stress, illness, virus etc.... not heard of it being 'cause of the weather tho!!
If you are in need of re-assurance go to your GP or family planning place.
I found a site below but it is probably best to go to your GP as with all things it may be nothing but best to check it out.
Good luck.

Hormones are weird things. Your periods can yoyo all over the place and then settle down. If you get a lot of pain with them or are worried, just go see your doctor.
