So here's the story: My best friend is a girl and I am also friends with her ex, who also happens to be one of my best guy friends. Throughout their relationship she seemed to avoid me, and I feel like she broke up with him because she thinks that there was possibly something going on between me and him. How can I confront her about this and regain her trust and friendship?
( P.S. There was nothing going on between me and him)

Tell her exactly what you've said here. That you're concerned about losing her friendship and you want her to know that there was nothing going on between you and her ex, especially since the two of you are best friends. If she truly is your best friend she will listen to you and understand that you wouldn't do such a thing. These are things that just make relationships stronger, so approach it from a loving, positive point of view and let her know how much she means to you and that nothing was going on between you and he ex whatsoever.

Well I'd talk to her and let her know nothing is going on! The same thing happened to me not that long ago but now were friends.

Maybe you should just talk to her, bring it up in a conversation...and make sure you let her know that there is nothing going on, and she shouldn't have a reason not to trust you...

why do u still wanna be her best friend when she cant respect u and trust u.
I feel its no point having a friend like that and definately not a best friend.
But make sure u do tell her that its not done that u disrespect me wid that kind of a accusation

All you can do is talk to her and ask her what is wrong. When (if) she tells you just talk about it. Apologize if she thinks you've done something wrong. Write her a letter telling her how much her friendship means to you.

Maybe she feels like you were more of his friend. But I would definately try to talk to her about it. If she seems receptive then hopefully you'll get to work things out.

put it out there, but you need to let her make the move on her terms. she might be thinking that you're one of the friends her boyfriend got in the breakup. let her know that's not true. unless you did do that. then scrape your shoe and walk on.
