This is in business administarition. What is the difference between a BA and a BS bachelor degree

BA would be a bachelor of the ARTS, and would probably focus more on the theoretical or conceptual.
BS would be bachelor of SCIENCE, and would focus more on the actual applications and reasoning.

It really isn't going to matter THAT much. Honestly, if you have a bachelor's that is good enough for most places. The only thing they might look at as a factor is what your major was. I would focus on choosing the proper major for your career path and not worry about the BS or BA part. It really just means S-sciences or A-arts.. BS is usually associated with engineering or other technical fields, BA is usually associated with business or social type fields, but to be honest a bachelor's is a bachelor's. Pick a major you love first.

In business administration, BS (science) would be the accountancy field and BA (arts) would be economics.

It determines the area of study. Either a Bacheler of Arts or Science. In your field a Science degree is preferred since an Arts degree is based on theory.

Years ago, a degree in business administration was a BBA degree(Bachelor of Business Administration). Check with the school and ask them what they call it.

BS- Degree in science, many applications in the business world.
