There is a greek play called Prometheus Bound, it is a great myth about the greek god that provided fire for man and was then punished for his deed by Zeus. Many of the other dieties visit him in the play, so it isn't just the same old two character myth. Also if you want less focus on the gods read Sophocles' Oedipus at Colonus or Antigone. I'm sure you have heard of Oedipus, but still the plays are wonderful and Antigone is just such a character!

The Great Goddess Athena, goddess of wisdom, war, and crafts, was born out of Zeus' head, literally. Vulcan had to chop his head off for the goddess to come out.
The Pandora Box. Zeus' gave Epimetheus, Prometheus' brother, a gift, a perfectly beautiful woman, Pandora, to marry, and a box that contained evil and pain to the world. Epimetheus accepted the gifts, even if Prometheus told him not to accept any gifts from Zeus. The box was kept not to be opened, and Pandora wasn't very smart, so one day when her husband left home she was curious and opened the box, then all the pain and misery of mankind flew out of the box all at once. Pandora closed it, but she was too late, everything flew out, even the small thing called "Hope" so that maybe, there would be some hope for mankind.
Also, when Prometheus betrayed Zeus, when he told Prometheus not to give mankind fire, Zeus, the mighty, chained him on top of a mountain, and sent an eagle to come and see Prometheus to eat his liver. And every single, Prometheus grew another liver, and the Eagle would keep on returning to eat it.
