I have never been ashamed. I have always been proud to be an American! Anyone who feels shame in being an American either doesn't get what it means to be an American, or are a Kerry supporter. We need to stop apologizing to everyone for everything and stand up and be the strongest nation in the world again. Let everyone do what we want for a change! There is absolutely nothing wrong with being proud of your nation.

I was never ashamed of this country and never will be. I will also never call any other country my home, though I've visited many other pakces around the world. I will always live where I can disagree openly without fear of reprisals. I might not be able to make all the changes I want, but I can still vote!

If you are ever ashamed of where you live, MOVE!

Obviously you refer to the shift of power that will occur now that the election results are in. I have always been proud to be an American It's why I joined the Navy right after high school. Having gone through the educational process and taking every opportunity that was offered to me to enhance myself as an educated, well informed citizen ..I'm always proud to stand behind my countries flag. Study any war from past history and you'll realize that war is always hell and discontent will always exist whether the wars are civil within ones own country or global, international. I'm happy that you are proud to be an American today. And I suggest you involve yourself in civil service to guarantee your commitment to helping our country stay strong and on the right course for all of mankind.

I have never been ashamed to be an American.

However, it alarms me to see us creeping closer to Socialism all the time.

And, Nancy Puloski as Speaker of the House...? You're KIDDING, right?

I am proud to be an American. Unfortunately, I wish we could "disown" Michael Jackson.
