Services that you pay for are getting increasingly poor by the day.
I recently went to the ATM at my bank and used my debit card to withdraw a substancial amount of money. It was a lot 'casue I was paying bills that day and I like to pay with cash to the utilities, phone and groceries.
Well the atm debited my account but did not dispense the money.
That happened on a Friday. I went immediately into the bank and after a long (disappointing) conversation with the branch manager, I was told that all I could do ios file a dispute and that it was going to take at least 10 business days to get my money back "provided I was not defrauding the bank" (yes he actually said that!).
I was so angry with the treatment I received that on Monday I opened a new account at another bank, withdrew my savings, and made arrangements to transfer my loans too.
Now when I go into any business I expect courteous, attentive response to my patronage. If I don't get it I will contact the District manager.

Actual the branch manager is the wrong person to talk to. You need to talk to the person that takes care of the ATM. It's usually a 2 customer service Representative. That work their. The manager was incorrect. It would not take 10 business days. The bank balances the atm out everyday. So you need to go back to that bank. Ask to speak to Customer Service other than the bank manager. Talk nicely or they may ask you to leave.
