Yes, once i was walking with a friend in the city and some random guy grabbed me from behind and said "you bastard!" and as he turned me around, he realised i wasn't the guy he was looking for. He bought me and my friend a doughnut each as an apology.

Yes. I was insulted by a coworker because she was under the impression that I said something vicious about her and she later found out that the person who told her that made up the whole thing! She later apologized to me and I accepted her apology but for her not being woman enough to ask me first if it was true that I said those things and so fast to believe I would do such a thing, our relationship will never be the same.

I think that has happened to everyone at one point or another in their lives; however I don't know that for sure. I do know it's happened to me by people I know and even strangers trying to be jerk-offs.♥
