I just got back... It wasn't as bad as I thought because I was only there for an hour (a freaking record!) and I was able to finish my book, The Man Without A Face, while listening to soothing music... It was great! However, I can still feel the tickle in my mouth... :-)

yes. Where else can you go and have a man say, "Open wide and let me stick it in" and not worry about getting pregnant.

Ooooh yeah! My dentist is CUTE! and he's funny and he gives me valium for my 'stress' at visiting the dentist. I love my dentist! He also saved my mouth; two other dentists in Texarkana (one with a plaque in his office saying he was one of the best dentists in Texas, from some magazine) wanted to pull all my teeth and make false teeth; cost: 5 grand. For less than 500, Dr. Dan gave me a mouthwash to heal the infection in my mouth, pulled 3 or 4 that were beyond saving, and I still have all the rest - after 3 years. LOVE that man!

I absolutely am terrified of the dentist, even though my mother put me through a retainer, braces, and regular 6 month check-ups growing up! I go tomorrow morning to my dentist to have them drill down a back tooth for a crown. I am so scared! I'm glad your appointment went well though! Congrats! ;-)

I used to like to go to the dentist, but my plan changed and I had to find another dentist, I don't trust anyone in my mouth, but I am still looking for a reliable dentist. :)

Yes.
I get to nap for an hour and my teeth are shiny clean after!

Unless it's for a crown... then not so much.
