I would only like an average not an exact estimate, unless there is such a thing as exact estimates when it comes to this sort of test which I doubt, so I only want an average. Thanks

You can call the lab 2 hours after the test and get the results. If they don't have them yet, they will tell you when to call. Or call your doctor and have them call the lab for you. If they ordered the test, the lab may only give it to the doctor or his nurse. Call and see.

Doctor's like to drag things out. First you go to the doctor and get your blood drawn then they give you another appointment to come back for the results but in fact it only takes about 30 minutes to get the results back. They just want you to come back to the doctor so that will be another visit fee.

I went to the er once and found out i was pregnant within 30 minutes after they had taken my blood. So don't let them fool you into thinking it takes days to get the results back.

Good luck

It depends a lot on your doctor, and how closely they work with a laboratory. Best bet is to ask your doctor on this because it varies widely.

I took my blood test at 11 am in my doctor's office and my doctor called me with the news at 8 a.m. the next morning.

I had a blood test for pregnancy done and the doctor told me immediately after. They drew blood and I waited in a room until he came in and told me the results.

It depends on the lab. I had a stat one done and it took an hour. But who knows what time frame is normal for your lab and how busy they are.
