What is the differance between internet explorer 6 and internet explorer 7 and what do you think of it.
also has anybody tried mozilla fire fox, is it any good?

internet explorer 6 is ok verry good to use internet explorer 7 many have gone back to internet explorer 6 reason they dont like da way internet explorer 7 is set up it gives out to many problems also many dont know how to use it not easy access for them. so they go back to internet explorer 6 or move on to firefox as firefox seems to be more fast then internet explorer but in comes New in Opera 9 witch is verry good & verry fast

Internet explorer 7 is internet explorer 6 with Tab browsing. Which is basically IE trying to be Firefox. Firefox is faster and more efficient, as well as having less spyware and actually having a bigger display (smaller toolbars means you can see more of the page you're looking at). I strongly advise that you use Firefox, but have IE 7 installed in the event that you need it

The difference is internet explorer 7 is more safer then internet explorer 6.It has security and a more powerful pop up blocker. I have put the pop up blocker the the max and i haven't got any pop ups

I've been using IE7 for a while, no problems.
A definite improvement over IE6.
Mozilla Firefox is also good, except for having to keep finding plugins to let it do things that IE does without plugins.

Used IE7, could not stand it. Have gone back to IE6. Sorry cannot comment on the other ones.

IE7 is better than IE6, it's more upto date, but Opera beats them all - it had tabbed browsing before Firefox even existed....

I don not recommend IE7. Not even our work is allowing it because it messes with everything on your pc! Big time!

IE sucks balls, Firefox gives better protection from trojans etc, and you can customise it with thousands of themes and addons.

except for the validation part (you can't download it if you haven't got a genuine version) there isn't really any difference.
They do say it'll be better and faster, but in my opinion it isn't :-s
