my dad died 3 yrs ago and my mum has been told she may be entitiled to his state pension, my dad was 52 so he wasnt claiming his pension, is my mum entiled to it

have you tried for pension credit. its worth a look

Provided your Dad contributed enough into the scheme and your mother is over 45, she should be entitled to a Age-related pension
(the figure age in brackets refers to women widowed before 11 April 1988)

I dont think so because my dad died at 52 also but my mother didnt get any of his pension.

My wife died at forty seven and had paid contributions up to then. However, I wasn't allowed to claim anything.
