Dude!!!! Either your very young and still new to the marriage thing, or you just don't care!!!! Never buy her Nothing and NEVER buy her something impersonal! When she tells you nothing, she really wants something from the Heart, now you have to play catch up, and make it known that you are truly sorry! You want her to forgive you, don't be cheap, half/full day at the spa, will get you out of hot water, however don't be stupid and say something like........ you look like you need to relax! I'm sorry and I thought that you would enjoy being pampered for a change means you always pamper me (EVEN if its not TRUE!). If you can't afford something like that, do the pampering for her yourself! GOOD LUCK!

Your wife wants a surprise...just like you want a surprise for your birthday. You should know what your wife wants...you live with her ALL YEAR and I'm sure there have been times when she has commented on wanting a massage, a new coat, a perfume, a day at the spa....something. She doesn't want to ask for anything because it takes the fun of you putting thought into a birthday gift. Hint: Throughout the year write things down that she says she likes...and when it comes to birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, mother's day, ect...you will always have a list of things to get her. Even gift cards to her favorite department store for her to splurge without any regret is a great gift. Now send some flowers to say "I'm sorry sweetie."

Ahhhhh-I can tell that you're a young'un with little experience!!!!
Perhaps what she meant by 'nothing' was nothing store bought. Could it be she wanted 'you' for the evening? Perhaps you would pick up 'take-in' and pamper her on her special day???? Women are complicated, no doubt, but remember this, honey, 'if mama aint happy--aint nobody happy'. Bet you won't forget this lesson. You can make it right. Bring home dinner, some wine or a favorite something, tell her you love her and you screwed up, ask for forgiveness and I'll bet you end up having a really, really good evening (if you catch my drift!) Hello Outlaw, Sit your wife down and explain the reason why you didnt get anything for her. Tell her that when ever you ask her the question "what do you want " or "what would you like" that her answer is always "Nothing". Explain this to her so she understands. And tell her with that in mind "why is she mad?"

I wish I could have seen this question before the others did but i have to agree with the two ladies that really had a great answer # 8 & 9 but you could aslo try this web site if she loves sex or even if she is not into sex as much as you there is something in this site for every one and it will diffentanly make her want more check it out it makes sex better for both of you and adds spice to your sex life!!!

When your wife says nothing (and I'm guilty of this too!) She means: "Think of what I like. I don't want to tell you what to get me. You love me, figure it out yourself." Mine's coming up soon. I want a clean house, well behaved kids, a home cooked meal. To me, that's encompassed in "nothing". You did what she SAID. Do what she WANTS. Big difference.

All woman say that. Trust me thats not what we mean. We just feel kinda hurt that you guys don't know us well enough to know that it doesn't matter what you get us as long as you do it from the bottom of your heart. A handmade card melts my heart away.

Nothing means....nothing she can think of. You must always provide a gift!! My B'day is next week and I told my husband to get me nothing too!! But, I will surely be disappointed if he doesn't get me a little something. Jewelry or clothes always works for me.
