You can buy a plastic holder that fits the cap snuggly inside and then just throw it in the wash. You can purchase these at Wal-Mart.

You can hand wash them but that takes alot of time with a wash coth and let it air dry. You can buy a dishwasher holder to put your hat in the washer. I don't know where you live but here in ohio they have a store called Hat Zone. They sell the holder for almost nothing. They also have a spay to put on that repells dirt and sweat. I use it on my baseball caps and cowgirl hats. ~Good luck! ~

in case you haven't any longer have been given a hat rack for a dishwasher you are able to take a bucket and fill it with water and a few washer detergent. enable it soak for a competent 4 hours or so then rinse it out actual good. To dry it positioned a towel interior it so it keeps its variety and set it outdoors to dry.

My husband takes a scrub brush to his w/ just regular dishsoap and then puts them outside in the summer (inside in the winter) to air dry. I got 'fancy' once and tried using Spray 'n Wash and the delicate cycle on the washer....and aired dried them. My husband commented that I 'tweaked' one of the hats. So...he's on his own now :)

Heavily soiled use alittle dish soap and brush. Then send through
the dishwasher. I've even used a bit of bleach on white ones. Good luck.

I just use a little detergent and wash it in the bathroom sink with cold water.

Put them in the dish washer. That's how my mom washes my dads hats.
