i think that people do because it all depends on their self security level to how they dress, like if a person has very low self esteem they might were a little more "permiscuous" clothing than someone who feels good about themselves and doens't need all the extra attention. personally i always try to dress my best but you'll always know when im having a bad or lazy day because out come the sweats. other than that i try to look the way i feel, if im happy i try to dress in bright colorful clothes. clothes are often the first thing people notice about you. why not give them somthing to notice, in a good conservative way that is ;-)

yes, i do. i also think ppl express themselves via their clothing choices. if they're feeling schleppy, then baggy sweats. if they're feeling down to earth and chill mode, then jeans and a simple T.

i want to express confidence and fun. i have a few message T shirts that are funny--not suggestive like Abercrombie and Fitch. When I want to feel sexier, then I wear a deep v-neck. My dress choices for special occasions tend to be classic w/not a lot of ornamentation. I think classic simplicitiy goes a long way.

I think so. Definitely... Clothes are one of the most important venues in which one expresses their individuality. Also your affiliations to a group, a philosophy, a way of life.
What am i expressing when I dress? I like to present Diana Vreeland's maxim: "Fashion is refusal". So I tend to be simple but very chic. Be that in my outfit and accesories...

I don't really express myself that much through my clothing because I'm a mom, so I guess there just isn't enough money left over after I buy the kids clothes.
I do buy alot of really nice stuff for my kids, they have more then they need.
I just do without a bit.

Ya know i never used to cuz i though if i made my own type of style ppl would say stuff but i got over that and now i wear wut i want to wear and what i like and i dont care if ppl say ne thing about it! You have one life your living for yourself not to impress others. I have learned to express myself and what i like. It shows to some ppl that I have my own style and im unique.

Absolutely. Unless I'm at work or something, my outfit signifies my tastes and personality. I love to stand out. I also love wearing one style (maybe skater-ish) one day, and then changing it up the next (maybe skirt & heels). Yeah for style chameleons!
