i don't think they were really like going to stay together just cuz the fans you know? like fans meant alot to them but things prolly happened inside the band that just didn't show on the outside. so i don't think we will ever know the REAL reason for the awesome band ever Blink182's break up but maybe some of us can go on hoping and wishing they will rejoin but this is one of those tings only time will tell... and only some people know the true reasons blink broke up.... i hope that made some sense. hmm... I don't know... but my friend, who's also a blink 182 fan like most of us, thinks its because of this one reason... Tom requested the break up, so the rest finally agreed... The reason Tom wanted this is because Mark and Travis has a very strong and solid friendship and sometimes Tom feels left out... He sometimes feels he's not part of them... Although this side is never revealed to any of the fans...
But if I'm wrong, don't get all cursing and swaring on me.. This is just what my friend told me...

Good question, I always wondered that too. I don't know the specific reason but I know why most bands break up. After awhile it's hard to work together. Sometimes one band member gets more attention, or sometimes one of them changes for the worst. If there's a big fight over something like a song or a concert or money then of course that might cause it. Or sometimes it's just time for everyone in the band to move on and start anew. Nothing lasts forever.

tom delonge made angels and airwaves. so that kind of got the other two guys angry. its doesn't matter to them who many fans they have, they want to expnad in new directions with their music. notice how angels and airwaves sound is completely diffewrent than blinks. maybe tom felt as if he didnt want to keep making that punky type music

You've got the WORST taste in music and would have the WORST taste in entertainment if you liked talentless reality shows! Listen to good music like ICP!

Its just like when RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE BROKE UP they just stop getting along or they have different ideas nothing last forever just treasure the music they have just Like i still bumps RAGE everyday

Mark and Tom didn't get along.........so now they are on indefinate hiatus.....maybe they'll come back! Destiny's child did.
