Crocheting is a blast - I have crocheted over 30 years and still love it. Here is a site that can help you! There is nothing better than the real thing, in person. See if you can find a Crochetig Guild in your area they can help you and if they are like me...I enjoy just passing the craft on to others...

Interweave press publishes some very good magazines. I enjoy one called Piecework that has patterns and history about all types of needlework, including crochet. I believe they also publish a chrochet magazine.

You can also check out the Crochet Guild of America. www.crochet.org.

I used to crochet a lot but I have carpal tunnel and the wrist motion aggravates it. I continue to knit when I can though
