Yes. The earliest a urine pregnancy test can detect pregnancy is 14 days or longer. For instance, if you are concerned about the intercourse that you had on September 1st, you could take a pregnancy test on September 14th or later and it would be accurate. A urine pregnancy test will not detect pregnancy/will not be accurate for the last 14 days, only 14 days ago and before will a pregnancy show.

Yes it is. A very good hospital blood test can sometimes detect pregnancy at 7 dpo (days post ovulation). A very good home test MAY show the second line at 12 dpo. Wait until your first day of your missed period if you want to reduce your risk of a false negative.

Yes because the baby hasnt had enough time to implant itself to the uterine wall and start increasingly producing the hcg hormone. You should either get a blood test or wait until the first day you expect your period to take a home pregnancy test.

I say take the ept..keep taking it, because the earlier you know, the more time you have to decide what you want to do.

Yes, you must wait at least 1 day after your first miss period. You could try First Response. You can test 5 day before you expect your period.

YES, it can take that long just for the egg to be fertilized and implanted in your uterus, give it another 2 weeks and then you should try the test.
