i'm trying to download pictures on myspace but it is saying they are too big. i was told to download infarview but i'm not sure what to do now. help

the easiest way to do things is open the picture in irfanview, then go to the image settings and resize it by percentage.

Try using Picasa2 from Google:

Find your picture using Picasa and then use the Export feature, which lets you resize your pictures to sizes that are better suited for web viewing. Try values of 640 or 800 for width.
