Seville is a province in Andalucía, Spain, its capital is the city of Seville.
Other towns are -Ecija, Utrera, Estepa, Osuna, Camas, Constantina, Moron de la Frontera, Alcala de Guadaira, Marchena, Mairena del Aljarafe.
Seville Province limits with Huelva to the west and southwest, Cadiz to the south, Malaga to the southeast, Cordoba to the east and northeast, and Badajoz to the north. All these provinces are in the region of Andalucia except Badajoz which is in the region of Extremadura. Seville province is crossed by one of the 5 .
main rivers in Spain, the GUADALQUIVIR.
The main crops are sunflowers and olives (for oil and for food), citrus fruit, such as oranges, lemons, etc. rice, and other cereals.
Animals raised are porcine and poultry, and also some bovine (bulls) for the bullfights.
Sevilles main monuments are the Cathedral with the Giralda tower, The Arzobispado (archbishops home and offices), La Alcazaba (moorish castle), The Archivo de Indias (where all the letters and papers pertaining to Columbus discovery of America and the consequent trips of the conquistadors are kept. The Plaza de España building with the Parque de María Luisa next to it.and the nearby Barrio de Santa Cruz which is the oldest quarter in the city with its narrow streets, small lovely squares and the Murillo gardens next to it.... Also the churches of La Macarena, Jesus del Gran Poder and a few others worth visiting. There is also a small but very complete museum of fine arts.

Seville is famous for two things, besides its historic importance, these are the processions during Holy Week, which take place during the 6 days prior to Easter sunday, and last sometimes all night.... and the "Feria de Abril" which is the local fair that lasts a whole week, during which time everyone dresses in regional costume, horsemen and carriages are brought to the fairgrounds to "parade"; there is much merrymaking, dancing, eating and drinking, which last until the wee hours of the morning.
(I think I've just written your report!!! )
:-)
