I'd much rather feel pain - assuming of course it isnt constant. To feel pain means that I would appreciate the good times even more when they come around. To feel nothing at all... where would the point to life be? Even in the bad there is a bit of good. It is hard to see sometimes, but if you look hard enough you'll find it.

Well, let me see.......what kind of pain are we talking about.... physical pain, emotional pain, what? In the case of physical pain, it would have to depend on how intense that pain was, and whether I had exhausted all my efforts to find a method of easing it. Was the pain due to the advance of a progressive, and completely incurable disease, from which I was going to die anyway? If that were the case, I believe I wouldn't have any problems of conscience whatever doing for myself what it is currently illegal for somebody else to do for a fellow human, and release myself from my own unrelenting suffering.
In the case of some kind of emotional pain, I can't off the top of my head think of any that would be so bad that I would want to take that way out, because I would consider that a permanent solution to what was very probably a temporary problem.

Without the pain I have suffered in life, physical, mental, and emotional I would not be the person I am today. I would not give that away for no pain. The painful times in life are the times when I grow the most.

If all I ever felt was pain then I would rather feel nothing at all, constant pain can literally drive you CRAZY!!!
If I could feel pain amongst other things then I would go with that option...

I'd rather feel nothing at all. Go to the hospital and ask someone going through chemotherapy if they'd rather feel pain or nothing at all. I think I can guarantee they will agree with me. Pain is very horrible. :o(

I would rather feel pain, because without pain and suffering there is no contrasting sensation of happiness and joy. To me it is well worth it to sacrifice a little bit of unhappiness to gain a world of of emotion and diversity and beautiful and shocking things instead of everything just being blah.

Rather feel nothing ....
not bcoz it hurts to feel pain
just y bother ....
when ur in pain u miss out on alot and u know it
but if ur just feeling nothing u either wont miss out on so much .. or if u do... u wouldnt care anyway
