on can. How do i remove the almost sticky substance from the wheel? Do i have some legal alternatives? There is absolutely no warning on the back of the can that states you cannot use on wheels. It was a practical use because it states that it cleans brake dust and buildup off of metals.

I'm pretty sure you will find a reference to "painted surfaces".
Almost everyone knows not to use solvents on paint.
