I'm going to use sqrt for square root (or ^1/2) to help simplify this:

sqrt(2a)*sqrt(ab) / (a^2*sqrt(b^17))
sqrt(2a*ab) = sqrt(2a^2b) = a*sqrt(2b)

a*sqrt(2b) / (a^2*sqrt(b^17))
sqrt(2)*sqrt(b) / ab^8*sqrt(b)
sqrt(2) / ab^8

so

2^1/2 / ab^8

Hope this helps!
