I have this friend and she keep bothering me by saying that she wants me to sleep over her house. I like her and everything but I just don't want to sleep over so I told her that my mom doesn't let me. So she started telling me to beg my mom and call her back once I get an answer, what should I say? Also, if she asks to come over my house, what should I say? I don't want her to come over, because all I do is watch shows all day and listen to music, that's my perfect weekend, I don't want it ruined by having friends over. I don't know, I'm weird like that. Please help me? I've tried so many excuses so far, I just don't know what to say anymore.

Tell her that when your mom says no she means no and that's the end of the discussion. Tell her that you just don't think it's right to argue with your parents.

As for her coming over just tell her that your parents don't like to have people over because your dad is a pedophile...(spelling imapired). Just kidding.

Tell her that your parents believe that time away from school and work is family time and unless she wants to play games with your parents and you and eat dinner with the family she just shouldn't come over

In the case of friendship, honesty is the best policy. Excuses are bound to trip you up oneday and then your friend will be terribly hurt at your deceiving her. Explain nicely to her that although you value her as a friend you like to spend weekends alone or just with your family. Tell her that it is nothing against her personally, but that's just the kind of person you are. If she is a good friend she'll understand and accept you for who you are. Also suggest she invite another friend around to her house, so that she can still have fun on the weekend, even though you are not there.

Just be honest and say you don't want her to stop over or come round at weekends, you can only lie for so long and that will just make things worse.

I understand what you mean... I like to have some time to myself at weekends too.

stop your lies, they will ruin your friendships and reputation faster and worse than just being rude and snobby. Once you start lies its hard to stop, and soon enough no one will believe you whatever you say, and they sure wont like you. Go spend the night over there, if you have a bedwetting problem, then dont spend the night, hm, lie about it I guess.

about going to her house, if she has a pet, say you're allergic. If she doesn't have a pet, just say that you have a project due for school and you really need to finish it alone. about her coming to your house, say that you BEGGED your mom, and she still said you couldn't have a friend over.

Be honest and just tell her you don't feel comfortable with her staying over. If she is a true friend and not too sensitive she will be ok with it.
