If it was fast food, you would use "Cook" or "Food Preparer".
If its Denny's, Coco's, etc... you would be a "Short Order Cook"
Whatever you do, dont say you worked at Arby's or any fast food place and put down "Chef". Your potential employer will totally see right through that.

"Cook" or "Grill" is better.
But, you better have some idea of what goes on behind the counter of the places you apply. Arby's for instance, doesn't serve burgers or even have a grill. THAT manager would probably not even consider you if you didn't care enough to even find out what that restraunt does.

I would put cook or assistant chef or even kitchen help but not "flipping burgers" that makes it sound like you didn't do anything else in the kitchen and your not qualified for much.

You do not get to choose 'flipping burgers" That would be dumb. Especially at Arbys, since they don't serve hamburgers. Say that you would like to Prepair Food.

Yeah that would be good. If they didn't want flipping burgers to be written down, they would have put, "Job (Except flipping burgers, ect.)", and that isn't up there.
