Specifically, do you feel it is working? What if legal would vilence go down in inner cities since gangs wouldn't have all that dope money to fight over? Do you think it is a lost cause because of demand like during the prohibition of alcohol? Is there a corulation between the war on drugs and the rise of gang violence that started soon after?? Thanks, I'm thinking of changing to libertarian party. Sick of GOP and Liberals. The libertarian party's views on decriminalizing victimless crime is intriquing but I want to hear from some experts on the front lines so to speak.

No - it does not work. Our jails are overcrowded. We make arrests that don't go anywhere. We should be more concerned about the security of the USA rather than some guy smoking weed in their house.

I am Libertarian as well
