You learn if you're ovulating with one of those ovluator predictor kits. When there are two really bold lines that will tell you that you are about to ovulate. Another way you can tell is through fertility awareness method where you track your waking temps and cervial fluid. A dip in normal temperature patterns along with clear, watery cervical fluid will indicate you are ovulating. SOme women can also feel when they ovulate. You can get a pain in your side which can last for a few hours as the egg erupts from the ovary. This is called mittleschmerz (German for middle pain) Waking temps that are elevated will indicate you have ovulated.

Figure out when your next period should start. If you have a 28 day cycle, this would be November 20th.

Then subtract 14 days. That would be yesterday, November 7.

Some women can feel ovulation, particularly if they have trained themselves to notice it. It's called Mittelshmerz.

Your mileage may vary... some women ovulate earlier or later, and if you want to know for sure you should use an ovulation predictor kid (OPK) or start charting (link below)

I don't know when you should be ovulating. But for me I can feel when I'm ovulating. Some mistake ovulating cramps with menstrual cramps. It's not as painful but I can definitely feel it. I know it depends on whether or not your regular. For me I come on every 28 days. Around the 9th of every month I'm in ovulation mode. Use ovulating to try and get pregnant and not as a birth control method.

I don't know about you, but I am at my most fertile which is when I ovualte on my 14-15 post day so If you started your mensus on the 23 you might ovulate on the 5th or the 6th. And should place your next period on or about the 19th of Nov. I can feel it when I ovulate but like I said everyone is different.

Ovulation begins 14 days prior to menstruation. So it is more important to know when you are expecting your next period.
Some women can feel when they are ovulating but not all. For most women who do feel it, it is usually a twinge or short sharp pain.
