My best friend dated a woman for three years and then dumped her because she wanted a baby and it would have been mixed race, proving that my best friend is a racist. That's what I hate most about my best friend.

Don't get me wrong I love my mate! I really enjoy her 'free-thinking', 'laid-back', 'hippy' attitude. I don't even mind when she lectures others about environmental issues and her extreme 'anti-racist' views - or her scruffy bohemian dress sense!
But my god, does it bug me that she is always late for everything!
She has always been like it even at school. She only ever gives approximate times if we are planning something, and then she always (and I mean always!) arrives late, usually anything from half an hour to two hours late - with no apologies!
Sometimes if she's having a bad day, or is busy she will be 3-4 hours late and she (occasionally) apologises then.
It's really annoying, makes it difficult to plan to do anything together and worst of all she doesn't even seem to realise how it effects others plans. She always complains that her boyfriend/mum/other friends are on her back about it and seems to think that the problems lies with them!!
That's the most annoying thing about my best friend!

Ther is nothing that I hate about my best mate. We can have a laugh and good time while still knowing each others own personal boundries. We are also there for each other in times of need, but also able to have a good time. So I guess I cant answer your question very well. sorry

That doesn't make them a racist. If they were, they wouldn't have dated them in the first place. I would never have a mixed race child either, they don't belong to either culture/race, and it isn't fair.
My best friend often forgets to return my text messages; make me crazy on times.

If so many of you have issues with your 'best friends' then why don't you try to speak with them about it? if they realised how much what they do upsets you (enough for you guys to b***h about it with total strangers) then maybe they would change. You at least owe them the chance to explain and defend themselves.
Secondly, F (above), I think perhaps you ought to actually speak with someone of mixed race before you make sweeping statements about how we 'don't belong' to either culture-I'm sure (?) your intentions were good, but it still smacks of condescension. I am lucky to belong to such a variety of cultures; it widens my perspective.

there is nothing to hate about 2 of my best friends they are the best i love them and i am so lucky to have them. the only thing that i would have to say that i hate is not being able to see them often and spend a lot of time together like we used to. I MISS THEM A LOT.

She's fat and ginger, oh no sorry thats lilyellas best friend, I hate nothing about my best friends, they irritate me at times but i lurve them, yours is a **** tho, one of my friends is mixed race and she is stunningly beautiful, intellegent and a bloody good laugh, her colour doesnt even enter my head. Its your mates loss. why dont you get ya self in there? to hell with ya mate!

My freind is one of those that if your ill she's either had it twice as bad or she knows someone else who's had it and if its not about her she doesnt want to know.i dont know why im friends with her really.

dump your friend and tell that person. If they are bringing you down,then you should not hang out together.
