Try joining St.John ambulance first. Thay will train you in first aid, and you will find out if you like dealing with emergencies. It will also give your CV an edge. You need to apply to your local nhs ambulance trust, and you need to be 21 or over and have a clean driving licence and 5 or more GCSE's (grade C or better) to apply to be an ambulance technician.

When you have been a technician for a year, you can apply to train as a paramedic.

paramedic school specifically.. they offer it at alot of technical colleges. It's not a 4 year type of thing. Mostly they are 2 year degrees. Be aware that being an EMT and paramedic are 2 different things. Paramedics require more school and training. EMT classes are generally 6 month courses.

Paramedics must be greater observant than you're - you have published your question interior the automobiles and Transportation>Rail class. Y!A observed the observe "prepare" and made a determination for you. Lesson found out? you're merely 14, so which you have have been given a lot of time to prepare remembering to be greater observant. Re-positioned up interior the desirable class, and good success - we consistently desire paramedics.

My local college offers a course that a friend of mine is taking. Does your college have a career center that could help you?

Call or visit a local ambulance company and ask for information. Some of the companies around here offer their own courses for paramedics.
p.s. I looked at my friend's book and if you can't handle pictures of babies missing half of their faces at accidents, then you might want to do more research before you continue.

Try injuring your friends with your car. Practice on them first and then you will be adept when it comes to the real thing.
