Seriously It makes me soo angry, so what a frog comes into your house that doesnt give you the right to want to kill them all because of your inconveinience... if a frog, lizard or mouse gets into your house its your fault because obviously your house is not properly sealed against nature... I have lived in the Canadian wilderness for over half my lifetime, and I have lived right beside swamps, lakes etc and never had a frog/mouse etc in my house because there was no way for them to get in. Come on people we are supposed to be the "smartest" animal on the planet and yet people cant think of any other way to deal with animals than to kill them..... geez in truth the ancestors of these creatures occupied the land long before we did, what right have we to murder them for our own comfort?? If you dont like mice, encourage habitat for thier predators, if you dont like frogs encourage habitat for thier predators... stop whining about nature and trying to destroy it... learn to live with it!

I agree completley with you on this one!

You know I love insects and spiders....well let me tell you whenever I recieve a call about "invaders", the first question is always, What is it? and the second is always How do i kill/get rid of it?
Its tough for me, because I always try to find peaceful solutions to these problems, but many people dont want to spend that extra 20 minutes spider "proofing" the house, its just easier for them to roll up a news paper....not fair...
You raise a good point, their ancestors were here first, then we came along, ruined the habitat and the current wildlife is left with a choice "adapt, or die" and unfortunatly, even though they do adapt to our structures, they usually end up dying anyways because of our lack of compasion. I have never killed a spider in my house, even before i started studying them as a career, I guess because I knew the value of each life and that thye were just trying to do the best with the hand they were dealt (so to speak) so I really dont find it fair that innocent wild animals have to die, just because we dotn want them there, well thank God animals dont think the same way we do, because most likely they dont want us here at all either............. yet Wild animals show much more tolerance than we do....so who is really wild?

Amen!

That is not to say that there are not legitimate reasons to exterminate a pest. In fact, it might be argued that encouraging a predator is equivalent to setting any other sort of trap for the unwanted critter.

As for me, I welcome having a gecko or two in my house. They are unobtrusive and are very good at keeping the place free of spiders and other small bugs. I also have two dogs that do a good job of keeping raccoons and squirrels out of the back yard.

rather than knowing that we as humans are animals too, people think we are superior and that we rule the world which just isn't the case. Nature rules us and everything arround us, people are just disrespectful of the fact that we are not the only species that lives on this planet nor are we superior to any other creature on this planet, we are all in this together!

Actually God created all the animals and humans and dinosaurs on day six. But I agree, I even let spiders and crickets off a the back door instead of killing them. However...cockroaches and mosquitoes, not happening!

because some persons are ignorant ,and do not have conscience of the value of the coexistence between the man and the animals.
a little bit of common sense would help.

Kelly, it is due to ignorance.

I love this quotation:
