not sure. or was he talkin about back in the 1600's....couldnt understand what he was really saying. he said...Canada is larger than the United States. Geographicaly (duh). but he said United States has more people. by far. then he said California itself has more people then Canada...cant tell if he meant back then. or now.

Yes thats quite true. Heres the facts.

The population for California in 05 was 36,132,147

Estimated Population right now for Canada is 32,740,732

Now - You can easily look this up

California has over 36 million versus Canada is about 33 million.

As of July 2006 California had about 4 Million more people than Canada.

BTW, land area:
Canada 3,511,085 Mi^2
USA 3,536,278 Mi^2

Canada is smaller than the US (duh).
