mike shinoda the "rapper" on linkin park went solo (Fort Minor). he's said that when he finishes his tour he'll go back and work with them!

According to Rolling Stone magazine...
Their label issues with Warner Bros. behind them, Linkin Park are in pre-production for the follow-up to 2003's multiplatinum chart-topper, Meteora. This time around, the hard rockers are teaming with veteran producer Rick Rubin, who's worked of late with Neil Diamond (12 Songs) and the Red Hot Chili Peppers (the upcoming Stadium Arcadium).

I think that ever since Mike Shinoda joined Fort Minor they went off their seperate ways. I'm not saying Mike Shinoda wasn't good or anything, but I think they still went on without him. Chester is pretty good. Linkin Park rox.

They are one of my favorite bands. I still listen to them. It's rumored that after Mike Shinoda (Fort Minor: the "rapper" in the band) is done with his tour they are gonna make a new CD!!
I can't wait. Fort Minor says that they have been throwing new material back and forth while he is on the road. I am very excited.

Chester was on Loveline a few weeks back, and he mentioned that they were working on a new CD.
Don't know when it's coming out though

well I believe one of the artists is currently in a new project although I can't remember the name of the "group" you know the song it's top40 "where'd ya go....I miss you so...seems like it's been forever since you've been gone" kind of a pop sound to it
They blew up like wild fire and were on the road for like 5 years straight give them time to rest I don't think a band like that will ever fall completely away from the scene! They are way too talented!!

Well... Mike Shinoda was doing his side project... Now that that's over they are doing the Linkin Park thing again... I heard rumors about early '07...
