While reading some celeb bio's I realized that many of them were groomed for success. Mariah carey, billy joe armstrong, Ashlee simpson, Angelina Jolie, even Britney spears were doing what they do now at a young as ( like 3-4) and have been doing it ever since. Long before anyone knew who they were.

I would like to do that some day. But I realize Im not groomed for that. I can sorta sing, I have this guitar for which I just learned tabs, I quite piano years ago, I have never been in a stage production. I have a crap load of catching up to do. Some of them went to schools for arts, which I was never even aware of.

sometimes I feel like giving up and just doing something in the medical or math field like everyone expects. I hate that, but at least the pay will be good. But I really hate math and science. I'll make my parents proud and have boasting rights. PH.D in your face!!!

has anyone ever felt the same way I do? Can you help me out?
what can I do to groom myself and chagne l

Yes. Most "stars" are groomed that way. I was. It's next to impossible to break into the industry as a "newby". If you want to break into the industry I suggest you learn FIRST to navigate the social circles. They're very intricate. When it all comes down to it, talent doesn't much matter. There are far more talented people out there than the "stars". However, if you know the right people and can walk the walk, it's not a problem.
If you ask how I know, that's very simple. I grew up in the industry.
